Signet

Run your notarization business on Signet.

Commissioned notaries use Signet to take Remote Online Notarization jobs, meet signers in a recorded audio-visual session, verify identity, and apply a compliant electronic seal — with the law for every state you're commissioned in right on the page.

U.S. notaries are commissioned by individual states — there is no federal notary license. Add every state you hold a commission in and Signet shows you the rules for each.

Run your RON business

Take notarization jobs from a live queue, meet the signer in an audio-visual session, verify their ID, and apply your seal — all in one console.

State law, built in

Your console shows the RON requirements for every state you're commissioned in — recording retention, identity proofing, certificate wording, and what's excluded.

Compliant by design

Tamper-evident electronic journal, retained audio-visual recordings, an electronic seal, and PAdES-sealed documents — built to the statutes, configurable per state.

Encrypted & auditable

Every document and recording is AES-256 encrypted at rest, with a SHA-256 audit hash-chain capturing who did what, when, from where.

Notaries as trusted identity-proofing agents

A commissioned notary already does what high-assurance identity systems need: confirm a real person, inspect a government ID, and create an impartial, signed record of it. Signet is exploring letting notaries serve as identity-proofing agents — performing in-person or remote ID verification that can raise the identity-assurance level of an Artemis account. The notarial act becomes a credentialing event: the person is verified once, by a neutral officer, and that proof travels with their identity.
